In lands afar, where languages bloom, There's a letter that brings a touch of gloom. Ê, ê it's called, a letter so rare, In Latin's embrace, it finds its lair. In Afrikaans, it dances with glee, Adding flair to words, for all to see. French and Friulian, they too adore, Ê, ê they use, forevermore. Kurdish and Norwegian, they join the dance, Nynorsk and Portuguese, give it a chance. Vietnamese and Welsh, they sing its song, Ê, ê, oh how it belongs! But Ê, ê has a secret, unknown to some, It transliterates languages, it's quite fun! Chinese, Persian, and Ukrainian too, Ê, ê helps them express, in all they do.
